I mean she could do signed copies but ship the albums themselves now and the signed card in a few weeks when they’re done, right? Wouldn’t that be a way to increase sales with signed copies this week?

Swifties most likely helped but she also has support from the GP. She’s a force right now and she’s here to stay 

The swifties have latched onto her and they’re super loyal. She can only go up from here.

Yeah she got the GP perched based on those streaming numbers. But GP still don't buy albums anymore, I seriously believe having lot of hybrid taylor-olivia fans helped in pure sales.

Nonetheless, every few years, seemingly out of nowhere, an act debuts that has roaring success with their debut album and has everybody stanning them because they’re what’s currently hot before, slowly, fading away and become a mere footnote of an era by the time they release their second or third album.

 

Meghan Trainor had a behemoth debut single + several other top ten hits and #1 album a few years ago and, well...

 

 

Rodrigo has done well in that she’s had two #1’s so far so perhaps she’ll have longevity and still be a name by 2025.

I think her personality will help a lot with helping her stick around. People latched onto her in a way they didnt with Meghan, CRJ etc. But there are definitely some success stans too

Not her doing 300K with her debut in this sale climate  Shaping up to be the next MPG, i fear.
