Bundle purchasing, discounts, remixes galore :toofunny3:

Does anybody outside that fanbase even KNOW this song? :toofunny2:

They are getting overexposed at this point.  I'm not surprised if Dynamite missed for Best Pop Duo/Group with that six versions of the song.

Billboard is gonna have to intervene regarding their pure sales/remix weighting because this is getting ridiculous :psyduck:

3 Weeks at number one and not a single member of the gp is even aware this song exists :deadbanana:

I-

Am I wrong or aren't they releasing new versions every week? They're definitely playing it smart milking their fanbase's dedication, but lord...they're basically making it a legit chart hit just off the buying/streaming power of their fanbase. Impressive all things considered, but also very shocking in a not so good way. I guess there's nothing really wrong with it though, just kinda leaves a weird taste in the mouth. But I like the song so I guess I can't complain. :dies:

I do think BB is going to reevaluate their stance on and allowances of remixes after Old Town Road and now especially this. They're basically taking advantage of a tactic so well that it's gonna ruin it for everyone else if BB says ENOUGH. :toofunny3:

The fact that less than 10% of the sales sum are actual digital sales :rip: where do their fans find the money to continously buy the same website bundles over and over?

Sales, streams and airplay are all metrics used for Hot100 charting. Some songs have low sales but tons of streams thus chart very well, some have tragic sales and streams but radio stations keep it aloaft. Don't get mad cuz of fans buying music or at least keep the same energy for songs with little to no sales and tragic streams but +50M audience impression. How is a powerful fanbase paying for music considered manipulation of the charts, it just shows how popular the group is, BTS can sell out stadiums across the US, something that what you call "popular artists among the gp" can't do. I wish people were this passive-agressive about radio having way too much weight on the charts cuz that's actually the least reliable metric of actual audience interest

ATRL seems to think that GP fueled = people actually care about those artists when in reality it's the complete opposite!

Being GP fueled literally means no one cares enough about you to be a fan and you'll be replaced without hesitation once the hits and/or payola runs out (See: Gaga, Katy etc)

BTS stays winning :jonny5:

When a Taytay fan whose idol's selling power is based on both GP & fanbase appeal speaks the truth :clap3:

It's a fair game for everyone. Chart needs to reflect both popularity & commercial viability of the industry. We're living in the world of capitalism, so why are ppl complaining?

Nobody is listening to this song chile , billboard gonna change the rules thanks BTS

I hope Holy snatch a #2 debut :allears:

it would be iconic if Justin & BTS in the top 2 :foxaylove3:
