Cardigan at 50, lol.

And the album will spend seven weeks on top, longer than Chromatica's chart run in the Top 10 :bibliahh:

And the annoying Army on social media will turn off majority voters.

tea. the only time ARMYs dedication will create a massive backlash critically speaking. lots of fans = kids bop music and thats always what the narrative of the academy will be.

BTS has amazing albums, Tear is such a great pop album (Ariana doing Love Maze, or Rih doing Magic Shop :jonny5:) but its their perception thats never gonna get them GRAMMY wins, would love to be proven wrong but the GRAMMYS care more about narrative than actual quality.

Does the 4 copies limit not apply to their website sales? How can they sell that many copies for so many weeks? :rip:

The song is still #13 on US spotify so it's not like they need all these remixes all that much anyways.

WAP and Dynamite are back-and-forth! Honestly both surprised me with how big they are, but Dynamite will start to free fall soon once its the remixes stop and sales diminish.

If you buy 4 copies of each remix then that's...44 copies I think?

They def do need the sales if they wanna keep staying in the top 2. Being #13 on spotify doesn't do that.

a certain fanbase is being real loud in here as if their fave wasn't doing the same thing to keep her album at #1 :rip:

congrats kings, POC talent WON :clap3:

Remix Kings LOL

I was more shocked by Justin flop lead single after the big support: #1 at TTH & big playlist, iTunes dissocount, 5 versions at YouTube (Video, audio, Lyric, performance ) + big radio payola :rip:

Sales, streams and airplay are all metrics used for Hot100 charting. Some songs have low sales but tons of streams thus chart very well, some have tragic sales and streams but radio stations keep it aloaft. Don't get mad cuz of fans buying music or at least keep the same energy for songs with little to no sales and tragic streams but +50M audience impression. How is a powerful fanbase paying for music considered manipulation of the charts, it just shows how popular the group is, BTS can sell out stadiums across the US, something that what you call "popular artists among the gp" can't do. I wish people were this passive-agressive about radio having way too much weight on the charts cuz that's actually the least reliable metric of actual audience interest

Careful. ATRL hates critical thinking and cold hard facts

I mean, it ain't any worse than all of those streaming driven hip-hop songs that no one's ever heard of.

They only reason they’ve put out 10 remixes of the same song in a month is literally to manipulate the charts. It’s annoying when anyone does it but this is just overkill.

Billboard needs to remove D2C sales from the Hot 100 at this point; the new Global charts don’t include them for a reason

They're here to win :clap3: but the fall will be epic once ARMY stop buying because they just don't care about streaming on spotify and apple music in the U.S.

On radio it doesn't seem to take off despite this is their highest charted single

yall, the song is #13 on US spotify and #4 worldwide meaning this is a well rounded hit song. Just because they are still struggling to break into US radio does not mean their numbers are corrupted or that their reign at the top is unfair. If anything having a sales fueled hit is actually something most of yall have been asking for from songs that top the hot 100 for ages :rip:

Their fan base is just so damn massive and some of yall need to just accept that.

Not directed at BTS, but Billboard really should limit how many versions of a song can count for the original version's total numbers. I'm surprised it's not a rule already.

There was a tweet from one of those chart predictors saying that each average transaction for Dynamite had 11 copies :rip: this fraud is beyond words :deadbanana4: I hope the Grammys don’t cave in to this manufactured smokescreen

Hot 100 is a metric of overall consumption of the song across all platforms. This definitely does not feel like #1 song that everybody is checking for. :rip:

Bundle purchasing, discounts, remixes galore :toofunny3:

Does anybody outside that fanbase even KNOW this song? :toofunny2:

BTS has 30M monthly listeners on Spotify and Dynamite spent an entire month in the top 4 on Global Spotify

So yes, many people outside their fanbase know the song

Oh, please. The entire history of the Billboard charts is fraud, industry favors and payola. These charts have always been a joke as long as radio has so much power over them and that, if they want, labels can pay for a good outcome. Yet y'all are mad over some damn remixes? Come on. A large porportion of #1s are not the song that everybody is checking for.

The remixes are obviously excessive, but at the same time even without them the song would be by far their most successful single and their first song that has been stable inside the top 15 for a long time. Their fans' enthusiasm and buying power is a rare asset that almost nobody else has. Why wouldn't they use it.

I want them or any other artist to release even more remixes and top the charts for 52 weeks till billboard sees the problem :lakitu:
