You can always email Billboard and ask them to stop posting “irrelevant records” then M stan.

 

And no Nicki and Beyoncé are not getting album tracks charting in the Top 20 / for multiple weeks on the Hot 100 like Taylor.

Madonna should have reached at least the T 20 with Into The Groove (probably T 10 & T 5), giving her one more. BB counted 12" maxi-vinyls as sales in 1985 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart in 1985 (ITG peaked around #19 there). But, for some really strange reason, not toward the H 100 at that time. Outside of that, I cant think of any way BB short-changed her on the H 100. BUT, given that H 100 chart policy in the mid-1980s, ITG exclusion is/was probably one of the most-blatantly erroneous omissions in the H 100s 60 + year history.

And she's gonna break the tie next week by probably 1 or 2 new entries  Madonna won't ever catch up now

Yeah. I'm no fan of Madonna. BUT, her fans have every right to assert ITG should've charted. There are probably very few 30+ year H 100 followers who would disagree with me here. ITG climbed to #6 on the Radio & Records (MB's predecessor) was very likely under-reported, since Angel was her official song release at that time. 

 

ITG actually had more spins total spins than any other Madonna song in 1985, more than Material Girl, Crazy For You, and Angel had at that year's end, so ITG likely missed #1 solely due to some stations non-reporting ITG's airplay that BDS/Nielsen would've caught (more than 6 years later).
