  1. And every single one of them deserves to be dragged. OT: Disappointed in Katy. I guess her current career state has taken its toll on her.
  2. I was a Kesha fan and was mad she was copying ha
  3. Well when you put it like that I can't really disagree.
  4. It'll rise threw next week and become a sleeper smash
  5. This thread is about solo covers so plenty! Olivia, Billie (has a shared), Sabrina, Katy, Rihanna (surprisingly), GaGa (has a shared), Britney, Xtina, Mariah, Janet, Whitney, Tate and Adela come to mind immediately.
  6. Well she was the only female singer to get a solo cover between 1977 and 1999 They simply didn't just give a cover to anyone Fortunately she got a retrospective 1989 cover
  7. I think this must be one of the rarest achievements since Time Magazine very rarely gives pop stars (or women in general) solo covers It took over 40 years for TIME to give female pop singer a solo cover (Barbra Streisand in 1964). And there were only six women before her (4 opera stars and 2 crossover singing actresses). There is still only one female singer with multiple (her name shall not be named) (Retrospective covers like Madonna's 1989 don't count btw )
  8. Oop Madonna fell off a lot, wasn't she at like 12m daily earlier this year
  9. I didn't know who she was until 2013/14 My first album was Rebel Heart which I was gagging for during the leaks (as was everyone else but now we're all anti-Repel Charts revisionists )
  10. Ignoring release dates and just counting start of the year as b'day: Music - 1 American Life - 4 COADF - 6 Hard Candy - 9 MDNA - 13 Rebel Heart - 16 Madame X - 20 CII - 27
  11. Is this the lowest Spotify debut for someone at #1 on TTH?
  12. TIC - 4.3m (pure) The UK adds all her SEA and TEA to her last two GH albums so her biggest albums of the past only really have their pure sales left.
  13. Total sales if you add single sales to albums 1:1? Good thing no one does that
  14. Taylor but I think if Sabrina/Olivia collabed on a Taylor diss track and the media promotes it as a chart battle it could have a shot
  15. LAV, True Blue, LAP, TIC, STR, ROL, Music, GHV2, COADF = 9 actual 1m sellers (5 at 2m+) before adding any "equivalent unit" fraudulence or imagining a made-up scenario next year when btw only one of these acts has an album charting in the UK and it isn't Taylor
  16. My favorite performance of all time would probably be non-contemporary but this is one of my fave pop performances which I revisit regularly:
  17. Yes, 1989 is a big blockbuster like TD. Unfortunately none of her others since turned out to be despite the hype. That was the entire point!
  18. There's no point having a 15 year distinction when her peers haven't had any blockbuster albums since then And it's not like she sold better before then I was talking about albums like TD, TF(M) and GGGB.
  19. I mean you can't really compare because we don't know if TLOAS or 30 will randomly go viral 10 years later
  20. Wow her album sales are really low in the UK compared to the US. Most pop girls are in the 2-3m range with their blockbuster albums. OT: How does TLOAS 47 weeks compare to other MPGs? I know that's more than Mayhem and CC but it still sounds low.
  21. Are these views real coz wtf But also didn't YT change a view time policy recently?
  22. We were talking about the streaming units only. Your post literally proves it
