I will never understand how radio works. Like, they're supposed to play what's popular, right? But at the same time, the audience is totally different to the streaming audiencia, so... it should be more balanced? I don't really know.

You answered it already sis.

payola

delicate was dropping on the radio , but when the tour start , its rised on the radio again.

i guess they wanted to promote her tour with radio payola thats it.

you can check for facts on kworb.net

it wasnt doing good on the radio before tour.

Because over 2 million already own the song

and people are buying instead of streamin

my fav is one if not the only one beside Adele that don’t need streaming they actually have people buying their music

Yeah I know but I'm not totally sure about that

It appeals to radio listeners more than streaming listeners. Streaming favors urban males.

The streaming audience does not like Delicate, but the radio and iTunes audience adore it :)

Delicate is only a success on radio. It’s a flop everywhere else.

Sales sweetie, reputation is the best selling album since Adele's 25, a singles job is to sell the album. Some streaming hits can't relate. :sistrens:

well streaming is heavily influenced by playlisting, and Delicate was playlisted before it started rising on radio so by the time radio picked it up it lost playlists on spotify

Delicate is pop, the same pop that was smashing when itunes and radio had a lot more weight, that audience is here for her.

Streaming is only for urban and latino music and they are not here for Taylor.

It’s obvious.

delicate was getting good updates from day one since it was released as a single :rip:

The reason it's so high on radio right now is because it has amazing callout scores, something your fave (and my fave too) can't seem to achieve. Now take a seat.

It appeals to radio listeners more than streaming listeners. Streaming favors urban males.

I'm checking Kworb and all I see is an organic rise in both spins, audience and call out scores. :sistrens:

It's really weird, cause it seemed like Delicate's rise on the radio was very organic.

Maybe it's because it's a radio friendly song and the GP just isn't responding well to it...

But also, isn't it Top10 on iTunes? Such a weird situation...

ie 30,000 people. Peopel who stream have no use for buying the record obviously. So songs that get streamed more will automatically sell less.

This “little girl” argument is invalidated now that she’s got two or three of the highest grossing tours of all time and soon, with reputation, a fourth, and potentially largest female grossing tour, of all time.
