it doesn't make sense to me how POP radio wouldn't play a #1 collab between Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande  the callouts were bad yes but still, they should bring it forward a bit more like  is Gaga that over on radio?

They sort of are tbh, this is her first Pop Top 10 since DWUW, so it's not like she's been a radio darling for the past seven years

It's Interscope that pulled the plug. It's not like radios decided to stop playing it yesterday randomly. 

 

Savage had horrible callouts and it still survived in the top 10 with decent updates for several weeks.

 

Gaga hasn't a good relationship with US Pop radio and that's undeniable, but in this case it's her label which is messing things up.

Even my fave, Nelly Furtado did way more with TSI which was basically a dead era since the start, than Gaga now

The song stalled for days on Pop, bad callouts as well so the label stopped pushing it. The label pulling it isn’t the reason it didn't do well.
