  1. Genuinely the only good scene she's ever been in was the trench crossing scene in WW. And that's because she wasn't talking — the score does most do the heavy lifting. Her acting is abysmal.
  2. Chromatica is a victim of circumstance sadly (COVID), Bobby revealed a few years after in an interview that Interscope invested the same amount of money into Chromatica as her "comeback" to dance music as they did for Born This Way but it all just fell apart. But we should be thankful, because not only did she not care for the album —because of her mental health at the time — but all the contracts that were unfulfilled got carried over to Mayhem and it's pre-era. (Fortnite, Coachella, Copacabana etc)
  3. I don't use TikTok (it was the first time I felt old because it's the first social media platform I don't understand or don't want to be on) but isn't it like full of kids?

Every single one of Gaga's major influences bar Madonna are Rock musicians and almost every album has rock songs on it. I think what they forget is Beyoncé us reclaiming Black created genres so the music she'll be doing is Rock n Roll and 60s style rock not modern rock
  5. I think you can still slightly define it the way you used to with a few modern caveats, like an album artist will still have fairly good pure sales for their albums and a singles artist won't. Also albums artists can sell/stream albums without loads of variants, reissues or versions on their Spotify/Apple Music
  6. I once dated a guy who only liked Metal and his family were goths primarily. They had no clue about some people, they knew names but couldn't name a single song. They used to refer to one specific singer as "that crackhead" and it used to fmu
  7. To be fair that's why they're making the series anyway. The Cursed Child stage play didn't — and still doesn't actually do —particularly well. The movies are in streaming but don't get much repeat viewing anymore like they used to, then in the UK the reruns happen multiple times a year but viewing figures of live tv are low. All video game adaptations of it outside of Hogwarts Legacy have failed miserably, but even then Hogwarts Legacy has only sold as many copies as the average successful game. And finally the principle cast have moved away from association to Rowling except Tom Felton and now Rupert, plus print media is dying so the book royalties will be drying up and amongst young people she's more know as a transphobe than an author now. Only millennials are really supporting the property now — miserable millennials at that I might add.
  8. Yesss her production company Sandollar Productions. They also made the Father of The Bride movies with Steve Martin in the 90s too.
  9. I never got the love for Harry Potter even as a kid tbh, I was always more of a Star Wars child. The books were poorly written, especially the final 2 books and they were the longest ones. The acting in the movies from the main trio was abysmal and only the legacy theatre and movie actors like Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith were actually good actors. Plus JK's love of embellishing lore about characters like making Dumbledore gay, when there's barely any hints of it in the original novels bar maybe a line — and absolutely no hints at all in the movies. They even danced around him being gay in Fantastic Beasts. And her weirdly racist and stereotypical nature of characters like the Goblins being a clear allegory for Jewish people or the only Asian character being named after two generic Asian surnames combined. Plus the IRA implications with making the only Irish character blow things up constantly. And now she's openly admitted she will continue to use her fortune to fight against trans rights, people really are just showing how immoral they really are tbh. Beyond the trans thing her demented millennial fans tried to stop infrastructure being built over a fictional grave of Dobby, requiring the company to damage Bronze Age remains in the process instead — literally damaging history for a fictional slave. Also the fact that the Malfoy's are clearly meant to be Nazis, as is Voldemort.
  10. I guess but then why go to the trouble to have the Spanish songs in parentheses and not just putting their Spanish titles

To be fair Shakira isn't listed and she's in Beautiful Liar. So unless she re-recorded it as a solo song— there's still a chance for Gaga to be on here uncredited. Maybe they'll update the track lists with features later like how the Mayhem track lists were blurred on websites.
  12. The price YIKES. Also how come Shakira isn't listed on Beautiful Liar? Could there be other hidden collabs on this album?
  13. In culture in general? Probably Beyoncé if I'm honest. Everyone seems to love her.
  14. Omg as a drag queen, two defining drag influences of our community gone just like that
  15. RIP legend. Our Socialist queen.
  16. Technically it is because Bigamy is illegal. Not sure about the rest of the world but you can go to prison for up-to 7 years here in the UK for committing bigamy. And since bigamy is a betrayal of the agreement of monogamy it is in fact; cheating.
  17. I do wanna say I don't think cheating kink is real and its just people's way of trying to have their cake and eat it too. A fantasy perhaps, but absolutely not a kink. And not to go all old-age I think it's because of p0rn culture. But if you must be like that I suggest an open relationship, or just not dating full stop.
  18. I know everybody will debate it to the high heavens but the answer is simply no. Thanks to modern technology MONOCULTURE is dead now. Pop music among every other genre is now fragmented up because of algorithms and how streaming works. Music is so accessible now people just find songs and albums in fragments. Outside of fanbases nobody listens to full records anymore, radio is a non-factor now and even YouTube has become irrelevant since it doesn't count towards the charts now. Marketing is now focused on places like TikTok for instance, or social media sites where stans become unpaid promoters essentially. The entirety of culture now revolves around the internet, and the internet revolves around algorithms, engagement and promotion. So nothing is surprising anymore since most artists now only post on social media to promote something. Nuance is also dead so everything has to be literal too.

As a big jazz fan I'm awaiting the day she finally does original Jazz music. Harlequin was spectacular and a great blend of jazz, adult contemporary and pop-rock. Truly one of my favourite albums she has.

Back then the producer said it was a funky soul song with brass and live backing singers for one of the characters in the movie and since in 2015 she was very much in her disco/funk/soul bag I expect it to sound like her Stevie Wonder cover from the time. Very 70s.

It's actually for an animated film called High in The Clouds that's been in development hell since 2012. This picture is them working on a song for the soundtrack in 2015. And they posted it in 2019 Apparently though the song isn't scrapped though. The movie IS finished and has a massive stacked voice cast including Ringo Starr and Celine Dion too. It's scheduled for a release in October 2027. https://www.gaumont.com/en/movie/high-in-the-clouds
  22. Still absolutely bop to Sanctuary and the remix of Simple + Clean. Especially S+C
  23. This I don't understand, however for that movie where she was pied in the face and thrown off a boat she deserves jail.
  24. I mean there was a 4 year gap between ASIB and Gucci and a 2 year one between Gucci and JFAD. All of which the majority of critics praised her acting, saying she was the saving grace of Gucci and underused in JFAD. She's had a pretty positive reception all around for her acting really. And she even won a golden globe for AHS and many were shocked she or Glenn Close didnt win the best actress Oscar when ASIB was eligible. Dolly Parton for example still on the odd occasion had many roles for years after she had terrible reception for her acting and the movies themselves for like 2-3 movies back to back before she got Steel Magnolia's after 9 to 5.
