  1. The way Scheiße would be in the 2B club if Interscope would've just let her drop it as a single on tour in 2012 like she wanted
  2. The way she should've got Jenna Ortega to do a music video and made a remix of Bloody Mary when it reached peak popularity
  3. I wonder if she'll try and make a do-over for Disease where she clearly wanted a seasonal hit. Maybe she'll release a new ooky spooky babadooky hit in October
  4. To be fair I think making any dance-y music at all at the time wasn't helpful. No matter how hot fly or sexy she was or wasn't. America was sort of moving into the more somber "I'm a real singer/artist" era when Witness came out.
  5. I think it was honestly her inability to grow and she sort of became a caricature of herself. I loved Lifetimes, I think had she made the song and the music video like 10 years ago it would've been perfect for the time.
  6. Bad Romance and Material Girl are neck and neck since it's shocking neither of them were number 1 for weeks on end.
  7. Not a big fan of Taylor Swift's music. I also do not particularly like The Fame Monster I think it's like bottom 2 of her discography for sure. Yes it has Bad Romance (her second worst single imo) but that's about it. Speechless is the only saving grace.
  8. The pauses for applause that only comes after an extended pause always kills me
  9. And she'd have not had a single shred of a career afterwards if she was black let's not act stupid. Imagine a black female artist putting out a sex book with sex fetish stories about sleeping with underage men. Posing naked in the street… if Janet got basically blackballed for a *** falling out but Madonna suddenly became "enlightened" by religion and was allowed to carry on like be so forreal. People go out of their way to deny Beyoncé of anything significant despite the fact she is probably the greatest living performer of the 21st century and the most influential of the 21st century too. Because she's black and white gays deny that consistently. Madonna absolutely got away with most of her shtick because she was white.
  10. While I agree she's the queen of Pop we can't forget that Donna Summer among many others opened the doors for dance music, the concept of eras and pro-sexuality in pop music. Black artists did pave the way for her as a white woman, and she did get away with A LOT because of her race. Imagine a black artist doing Erotica. They literally practically took Janet off the map because of a nipple that JT caused to come out. Disco and Dance music (which are Madonna's bread and butter) are popular because of the black artists that came before her. So maybe none of the girls after her are close to her legacy but she absolutely had doors opened for her to walk through before her. Pop music did exist before she debuted.
  11. She's said about TVU since her debut, they also inspired her songwriting and desire to experiment before MFF she's mentioned them a lot in early interviews. Doesn't diminish how pop artists have influenced her of course, but she was very much an oddity in her early days. You can see the rock music (the genre) that influenced her early work a lot. Wuthering Heights brought it back into play after Brat.
  12. I mean she's more inspired by The Velvet Underground and other acts but I do see the Brit and Robyn influence.
  13. Mother of gays and gay pop. I need her to have another revival before she goes.
  14. From what we know it's more down to the fact she didn't have the best experience with the AHS team last time when she worked with them, not Ryan specifically since she was gonna do Crime Story as Donatella but couldn't because of schedule conflicts. From FiveFootTwo she didn't like how they didn't give her clear direction, didn't like that they were extending shooting and it was messing with her schedule to finish Joanne. Hence why she didn't come back for the second half of Roanoke. It was originally supposed to be revealed that the witch/actress in the show was the actual witch still alive.
  15. Don't be so sure since Ryan pigeon holes her into the same role in every season she's in; the matriarch who's a b*tch with a sad backstory. Probably why she didn't want to do Hotel. I genuinely think; Money talks. And it looks like she's probably got a smaller role than they're letting on, because most of the dead characters are in the same set in the photos. So I imagine they'll maybe be in an episode each briefly.
