While I agree she's the queen of Pop we can't forget that Donna Summer among many others opened the doors for dance music, the concept of eras and pro-sexuality in pop music. Black artists did pave the way for her as a white woman, and she did get away with A LOT because of her race. Imagine a black artist doing Erotica. They literally practically took Janet off the map because of a nipple that JT caused to come out. Disco and Dance music (which are Madonna's bread and butter) are popular because of the black artists that came before her. So maybe none of the girls after her are close to her legacy but she absolutely had doors opened for her to walk through before her. Pop music did exist before she debuted.

From FiveFootTwo she didn't like how they didn't give her clear direction, didn't like that they were extending shooting and it was messing with her schedule to finish Joanne. Hence why she didn't come back for the second half of Roanoke. It was originally supposed to be revealed that the witch/actress in the show was the actual witch still alive.

Don't be so sure since Ryan pigeon holes her into the same role in every season she's in; the matriarch who's a b*tch with a sad backstory. Probably why she didn't want to do Hotel.
