The peak that Taylor Swift has reached. No matter how many records she breaks it doesn't feel impressive or impactful, and honestly I believe her legacy will be similar to Barbra Streisand's- people of the future will see a list where she has the most #1 albums and realize they've never heard a song, or did but didn't know it was her.

It's kind of a generational question given her unique career trajectory. She was a big pop presence from 4th grade to sophomore year so I would say absolutely an icon. I'm sure if you ask most older millennial's and above they would say absolutely not.
