  1. So happy for Brit-Brit. Well deserved. But the very first blight I noticed on this list was Christina Milian's seminal seductive classic Dip it Low being at #97! DIS-RE-DAMN-SPECTFUL. My homegirl didn't play in exquisitely-coifed mud for this tragic placement to occur. PRISON to whomever orchestrated this tomfoolery.
  2. Honestly? Truly? …a hard yes. An immaculate record from top to bottom. Even over SWTNR+TU,N.
  3. ETA: F*** an S (respectfully!) for the ultimate Sel G. bop.
  4. Voted Boys (Album Version, of course) since middle-nameless self-titled is my favorite Britney album, but BYE at y'all choosing Born to Make You Happy as the pitfall of the selected tracks. Singlehandedly the greatest song from Britney's debut. ISWIS.
  5. I have unironically loved this song since its unceremonious debut. A progressive, self-aware skank-bop that the world can't handle. The thex is still thpectacular indeed, Queen Kiely!
  6. But all albums are valid Top 3 placements outside of Death Street.
  7. Love Ms. Katy and her pop classics down, but Queen Rhonetta Johnson elucidated upon her unfortunate decline at the 6:00 mark of this iconic audition:
  8. Happy anniversary, Mimi! My eternal fave. A lifelong inspiration. Top 3 songs: Top 3 performances: (I see you up there! ) When she attempted to purify the Scammys: And just because it was so damn extra: But considering that it's MC, these choices fluctuate on a weekly basis. That's what happens when you have a God-given talent!
  9. #Justice4DamitaHo! My absolute favorite Janet LP; hands down. Choosing a top 5 is like choosing between air or water, but from immediate impulse: Like You Don't Love Me Truly All Nite (Don't Stop) SloLove I Want You Zero skips. ZERO.
  10. I'm still hoping for a B'Day Part II, TBH. That's an album with ZERO skips for me (the non-deluxe edition, of course ). What a magnificent era!
  11. The taste you just exhibited is just phenomenal! I can never get enough of Teena Marie. I practically grew up on her music. Irons in the Fire is literal perfection from top to bottom, and was entirely self-produced! She never received the grandiose accolades that her massive talents very much much warranted. Lady T could definitely use some more love. My all-time favorite Teena song:
  12. The industry should’ve left his overrated ass in 2009. All of the discourse surrounding the perception of this clown is entirely self-induced. Let’s hope it’s a promise on his end.
  13. This obscure ass bop from Fergie & the Gworls:
  14. I’m an eternal Charmbible enthusiast, so Through the Rain it is.
  15. The chokehold this album has on me… and I’m only 6 tracks in! Within the throes of this momentum, this could shape to be Ari’s best record thus far. While I’ve always loved her earlier vocal stylings, I’ve noticed that she’s a bit more pronounced on this LP. It’s damn near euphoric to hear every little inch of her delivery. I absolutely love it!
  16. I can’t even— Lord… If you had told little bitty me that THEE Eddie Thomas of San Francisco would be this much of an incoherent, cracked-out mess post-TSR, I would’ve audibly gasped with disenchanted disbelief. It really hurts to see him in this state of mind. And screw the raggedy ass mo-fo who decided it was a cute lil’ moment to record his psychosis for some VERY momentary clout.
  17. Not me loving the whole thing from top to bottom! From start to finish, the entire damn album was TF GOODT. A splendid sequel to This Is Me… Then. I hope the movie compliments the record just as well as it does its predecessor.
  18. In a perfect world, it would obviously be:
  19. A bop and a half. Love ha so much. Chapter II went quadruple Diamond over here; intrusive and unnecessary ass interludes, be damned.
  20. Any excuse to plug Successica, but this would’ve made a really cute single:
  21. About time this serpentine charlatan received his long-overdue comeuppance. Get your justice and cancel his ass FOREVA, Cassie!
  22. OMG, SAME. I was about to loop Can’t Sleep, Can’t Eat, I’m Sick for the second day in a row, but… nothing. Not a damn thing but some relatively tired-ass features on her artist’s page. I hate this s**t. Welp. Time to scour the market for some physicals.
