Twiggy is my fave song - the way that bridge builds is amazing, but all three singles are great

the way the chorus transitions into the bridge is *chef kiss*

Awful watered down album as expected. She wants to be treated seriously so she ruined everything interesting about her

A solid album clap3 Definitely grows on you a bit. Big Ideas and specifically Soup was what got me into listening to her music. Out of her three albums, Big Ideas and Mud are definitely much more my vibe than her first album lol (in response to some users saying she is going downhill on pg 3)

I'm enjoying the album. I don't like that pitchfork review. Not because of anything to do with the score. Just something about the way the author talks about the music puts me off. I looked into the writer, it's his very first pitchfork piece, and all his previous work is cultural criticism, some book and film reviews, not music focused. Which explains a lot.

As I sit here in the AXS waiting room to obtain my Red Rocks tickets to see Remi, I just want to say this is truly her moment. I've never had so many people in my life talking about her. A straight male friend even texted me out of the blue the other day to say this album is perfection and to make sure I agreed with that sentiment. Not that her fanbase is mostly gays, but it's mostly gays and girlies in my life that listen to Miss Wolf. The reception for this album has been so exciting as she gains new fans and people grow with her in this new evolved sound.

World Cafe is posting a special Remi performance tomorrow btw!

Such a solid album much more instant for me compared to Big Ideas (which I also adore). Snagged this on vinyl. Burn me Blue, Champagne, and the singles are great. But there isn't a track i would skip.

Edited by ThehushSound

she could have one of the best single runs in recent memory with:

Twiggy - Bottle - I Wonʻt Cry - Champagne - Moon so High - Burn Me Blue

Honestly, the only skips here for me are Jamie and Covered in Mud clap3

I do miss her funky sound but this is a nice change of pace, I just don't hope she ends up like Post Malone and switching to country permanently dancehall2

She mentions that she wrote 130 songs for this album !!

The way I fumbled and didn't go for presale tickets skull Hopefully there will be enough tickets for general sale, or they are all sold out already lol

Her vocals are so insane on this album, definitely my favorite body of work from her already. I Won't Cry sounds like a mix of Joplin and Mariah, her voice is soooo versatile!

The Hayley Williams praise alexz

Remi Wolf's "Mud" album has vocal performances that rival some of my favorite recorded vocals of all time. I can't not cry when I listen to "Jamie" and, unironically, "I Won't Cry". For me, she's at her best yet… the songs themselves and the performances.
