Second of all I started thinking about how she struggled to articulate, then I remembered her role as Cat Valentine, where her entire persona was to slur her words

She actually did articulate as a child, so somewhere in between she lost and had to regain the ability to articulate

It leads me to my main question... Was Ariana Grande method acting as Spongebob, and did Cynthia free her from his crusty fingertips?

umm I think she just got lucky with wicked 1 because she's obviously a talented singer but I don't think she's a great actress and neither a very professional one

and carried a gigantic multi million dollar production on her back as a side character. I know it must really hurt that Ariana Grande is multitalented and your fav is multi-untalented, but that doesn't change the fact that Ariana Grande is a gifted comedic actress and has been highly praised in every role she's taken.
