The album had so much potential. The beginning is really promising and strong, but she still hasn't figured out how to balance commercial hits with more unique-sounding songs that could help her build a distinct identity

It honestly makes me miss artists from the 2000s, like Rihanna, or even Ariana during her first few albums, when you could really feel how badly they wanted to become huge

I don't dislike Is It Love, but if it belongs to the top of this album....

My excitement went to zero....

I thought she had a good ear

Idk yall.., I'm not moving most of these songs sound like rejects. Double Blind, Right Now, Mr Nonchalant & the singles (except IS IT LOVE) are the only ones that moved me. Fairytale had potential tho

This album is cute, but her debut is still a 10/10 for me.

Update after 6 hours and multiple listens:

"Crazy Of Me" is STILL my favorite. "That Girl," "Kiss," "Mr. Nonchalant," "Feel Something," and "Right Now" all grew on me though. Those are the ones I keep going back to.

I def think my expectations were just really high because of the whole APOP concept and the neon aesthetic she was teasing. I was expecting more of that sound, but it feels like 5 out of the 14 songs actually commit to it. The rest is more mellow, sexy, vibey Afropop/R&B, which is cute, but it wasn't really what I thought we were getting.

I really do wish "Mr. Media" would've made the album. She's had such a crazy two years with blowing up globally, dealing with all the scrutiny, people constantly making up narratives about her, and all the pressure... I would've loved at least one song that leaned into that side of her life. "Mr. Media" would've broken up the tracklist and given the album a little more personality.

Also... "Is It Love" being the opener... ugh

I still really enjoy the album and I'm definitely gonna keep listening to it. It's just not as strong as her debut for me. I'd give it a 7.5/10 as of right now

The middle of this album is so bad. Fairytale What the hell was that... Tracks 5-8 should be deleted and replaced with WWP songs

Also, where is Selfish? It clears a lot of the songs on the album just based on the snippet. Hopefully it's not scrapped and is on deluxe or something

Damnit all these negative reviews had me going to get a listen before the release. I see why y'all like Kiss , it has those pop elements, i see where they were going but it feels badly executed
