Accelerate gets too much hate. That YouTuber brainwashed everyone into thinking it's bad but I think it's better than Make Me.

    Make Me feels soulless, but I don't hate many songs like I hate Accelerate. It is just… such a brutal assault on my eardrums.

    The only comparable Britney song that I can think of is Pretty Girls.

    In what world is Make Me… a bad lead? There definitely was better choices to go with but it was nice to have a mid tempo Britney lead for once angry

    Exactly. It does a great job of representing the sensual midtempo half of the album (Invitation, Just Luv Me, etc.)

    Make me is a cute generic bop that could be sung by any other pop artist.

    Accelerate is experimental but fails to go anywhere

    both songs are overhated.

    accelerate has always been fun and catchy. if you get it, you get it.

    Accelerate literally shaped the music industry

    Accelerate was nice nobody expected that experimental lead.

    Make Me is bland and falls flat on Glory

    Make Me might be my least favorite Britney lead. And odd single choice

    Accelerate is an okay song but terrible lead single choice. Make Me felt like the first real "Britney" song since the Circus era.

    Make Me was a great lead single choice for that album sans the MV **** up. Accelerate is one of those songs that those that get it , get it. Those that don't , simply won't. 🤷🏾‍♂️ I said what I said.

    Make Me… is a gorgeous song while Acceleration is the worst song ever recorded

    Both songs are very good just a little different for both artists. I don't get how they're disliked / divisive.
