Another AOTY in the bag. Love her so much. The album cover looks amazing. I do prefer the ICGUTT single cover, I think, but this album cover fits the title too well for me to be mad. The alt cover looks great too.

This album came out in 2020, and a band called Ra Ra Riot also had an album called Superbloom in 2019. Looks like the concept took a rest for a few years until Mother brought it back...

And Singapore and NZ randomly there, I doubt it's anything about countries that she will tour

they lowkey were building a bit of steam in the mid-2010s as one of the classic tumblrcore artists/bands but I don't think their sound quite translated perfectly to the modern era they made kinda everything but the kitchen sink sorta pop music… this song was a banger and I think one or two of their songs were featured in that very brief tv show Red Band Society I was a stan ngl, but they didn't really adapt and just kept with the maximalism and in the post-Lorde and post-Charli tumblr world that wasn't really a recipe for enduring success unfortunately

I'm so happy we're getting it so soon, but I'm a little disappointed in existence of interludes, especially both of them in first 5 tracks... They are so useless in digital era.

They had a meaning when they would be played on CD as a track in between with counting down seconds to the full song.
