Yes but that is her main appeal. She's completely non threatening and safe in every single way. No regular girl would have any reason to be jealous of her.

alright this one made me giggle.

taylor swift live performances isn't that impressive compared to other modern day artists. shes overhyped, and her lyrics arent that groundbreaking. reputation and 1989 tour was more of an event, eras tour is kinda forgettable outside the impressive gross.

I think one of the reason she is so big because her image and songwriting captures girlhood so well, which many other mainstream female artist can't do. Doing that naturally and effortlessly is more impressive than giving the wow factor. Classic ATRL thinking all pop girls need to give dance break/ hit high notes/ and fancy visual 24/7. Other pop girl's music accommodate their performances meanwhile her performances accommodate her music.

Also it's not like she can't give the wow moment. Reputation set at the eras tour definitely gives me WOW regardless how many time I see it.

Her commercial success is remarkable, otherwise yeah she lacks talent as a singer and performer

her only weakness is her vocals & dancing imho, other than that her relatability is the big thing why she is so huge fame wise. So I'd say she have that wow factor, it's just not the traditional sense?

I love Taylor but Madonna not being in that is BS. She was basically the #1 pop songwriter in the world from 1989-2000 with the highest hit ratio of any writer. She had more consistent hits than Max Martin in that period. Pretty much every single she put out was a worldwide hit and she wrote the top line for most of them.

and to be fair, in that SIO performance she's moving around a lot so ofc her vocals are shaky. She's also a great songwriter so let's not say she has no talent
