Two previously unknown songs by the queen of indie have leaked online. The first is called "Tsk Tsk Icarus", a 2022 demo that she mentioned in a Twitter post that same year.

The second is called "Numb", from 2016.

These are the first leaks ever since "No Better" and "Waste of Time", 84 years ago.

it just feels like she won't even talk about it anymore... it's so upsetting cause I feel like she had the perfect base for it but I also understand that the budget has always been an issue. idk she was getting us all so hyped and then two excellent singles came and then just radio silence. like at least let us down gently and say it won't be awhile until the album instead of just ghosting us on the topic

I was sure the album was already finished, mixed and mastered. She even made a Discord server and a friend of hers created an account on another forum to speak on her behalf. Things suddenly got quiet in the last few months. It's really sad.

I think after the Passion Pit concerts she was opening for got cancelled, she got a little discouraged and lost some faith/confidence (and probably took a financial hit). I remember leading up to it she was talking about how excited she was to return to stage too.

I don't think these are bad at all, if anything it shows many people are still interested in her despite not releasing anything for years

Another track called "Numb" from 2016 leaked today, along with the OG file for "Child King".

Her music is unlike anybody else, even these demos absolutely hit. Just always so genuine and raw
