Break it off by bar. Rihanna's mixtapes might've been bad albums but the singles were addictive

"Check on It" is a 5-week #1 hit that was #10 on the year-end chart and #88 for the entire 2000s decade. and a much better song.

Check on it is legit top 5 on beyonces discography

Such a shame she doesn't perform it. It's a billboard #1 and a total bop

Girl the topic is better bop not what's bigger. Either way SOS and Unfaithful are bigger than that unknown radio payola'd song, esp globally. Lead vs 4th single

Beyonce never performs Check on It ... Such a shame because it's a bóp !

I love "Check On It," but is that second verse Kelly? It's like I can't help but view it as a DC song rather than a solo Bey song. No shade, I just want clarification.

Y'all know I love Bey

OT: "Break it off" is a bop but is sadly kinda overshadowed by many of her other hits, like "Angel" is for Madonna or "Make It Happen" for Mariah. That said, despite what I typed above and my love for both, I voted COI for both.

excuse you, this iconiqué performance is from Check On It

Check On It for the simple fact that the song is more than a copy & pasted chorus dies

oh shittledeediddle this is a tough one… on one hand, Break It Off has ALWAYS been a fav of mine from Rihanna's more lowkey pre-Loud slayage, even though it's always struck me as odd that Sean Paul technically sings on the song longer than Rih herself does ryan2 anyone else notice that? he gets an intro, the first two verses, and ad libs throughout the song including during the bridge (which otherwise would've been the only part Rih would've sung solo). idk it just feels more like a Sean Paul song than it does like a Rihanna song… it's still dancehall pop perfection but hmm

Check on It I REALLY loved when it was released! I loved the Pink Panther movie it was from and then I loved hearing it on the radio… simply pop perfection clap3 somehow, even back then, it did not feel like a 5 week #1 single… but I also never understood how it wasn't seen as a major success considering it was even better-sounding than any of her other #1s up to that point were to me! lemme relistening now to determine what my final answer is bird

I haven't listened to either of these songs since 2006 lol but I'll go with Check On It being more iconic, since it was a #1 hit for so many weeks.

I have no memory of BIO, and I have its parent album rip
