When she sings jazz I note that she has the power and the range, but also a beautiful tone in her voice, which I don't think you can teach

there are CERTAIN singers out there that are praised to high heavens but are imo LACKING in the tone department

Okay so hear me out… hearing her perform these songs live made me realize how much I truly just hate most of the songs she picked to cover for this album. Like, I hope I don't hear anyone on earth sing Good Morning ever again.

BUT Smile, The Joker, Close to You, and Happy Mistake are career highlights.

The whole thing was SPECTACULAR but Close To You, Smile and Happy Mistake were out of this world even for her high standards.

I'm about 1/5th through the special so far (it's outstanding) but the fact that we already got a "put your hands up" I ******* love this woman dddd

The last half of that performance was MAGIC the first half was soooo fun too!!!

Thank goodness I love the album, so watching this was sooo satisfying.

Not me, have been #1 Harlequin defender since day one. You can just hear the musicianship from the record, even if you don't like jazz, you can still hear the quality imo.

I'll be honest, I wasn't really listening to Harlequin much this past year aside from a few songs. This week I decided to play the whole thing in my one working airpod while walking around looking at Christmas lights and that was the closest I felt peace all year. Like I am not even joking.

That Harlequin Live was one of the best things she's EVER done. Variety did not lie. Holy sh*t her VOCALS and unparalleled versatility were on full display. Happy Mistake ended careers but The Joker, Gonna Build A Mountain, That's Life were absolutely insane too as was the whole special. We are blessed to stan this level of talent. She is one of ONE.
