That is not true, Only a few people know this but the TDPW2 producers asked Beyonce if she wanted to be a part of the movie and write multiple songs for it but external pressure couldn't make the arrangement happen, so Gaga had to fill in.

I'm kinda confused too bc the production sounds a bit different and more downtempo but we haven't heard anything other than 12 secs in LQ so who knows.

Also, it's possible that Gaga's song is the first musical cue (which is what would make it eligible for BOS nomination) and this is a different piece that follows it afterwards.
