Not even a morsel or crumb following final Mayhem Ball date, let alone a mention of Requiem from her directly on sm. We are tired.

I honestly don't need any more music from Miss Gaga. I feel like if she does a new album at should be in like 5 years but that's just me. She has the classics, and any more hits and she'll have to take LoveGame out of her setlist.

I am fine with her taking longer between albums but it's gonna hurt her career if she does. The music industry is so fast paced now that it'll probably feel like she's reintroducing herself to people (again) with LG8.

She is a legacy act I'd say, but will still have big pop cultural moments here and there I believe.

I obviously want Gaga to get as many hits as she can, but even if nothing from TDWP2 soundtrack sticks it should at least pad her daily streams a bit which can only be a good thing. Also some extra weeks on the Billboard 200 won't hurt either

Agree. She's treating it like the side project it is, so no one should really be stressin'. And if anything were to stick, I think it'll be SOAW because it gets a proper scene with Gaga during the movie (assuming it's a prominent enough cameo that isn't forgotten within 3 minutes of it.)

Well, she's 40, so the fact she scored 2 major radio hits with her last era is already very difficult for a woman in pop.

It's important in the streaming era to release constantly (even if most things don't smash) because it gives you consistency, keeps your name in the public sphere, and increases the odds that something can go viral in the future. So I welcome more of these side projects/collabs/features personally. I wish she did more of this earlier in her career, but I'm glad she's doing it now (and has lasted long enough to still be relevant and creative).
