I genuinely feel like Jay is becoming perceived as almost "too" powerful with moves like the NFL etc. Even to other POC's, who have been indoctrinated into feeling/believing that those in "charge" should look a certain way (e.g., grey haired caucausian men). There is a very weird duality with Jay (and some others) where it's this "he made it and is the ultimate goal" praise that is equally mixed with "he's too big for his boots and needs to be taken down".

I'm very pro-Accountability Culture, but Cancel Culture, when you don't even know why you're attempting to cancel, is WILD (and sick).

Shockingly my colleagues all feel so bad for Beyonce and Jay Z because if you do even a little research in this you can tell it's BS but i also work for a media company so most of my colleagues can read through BS.

Me experience is:

• Those who like her are completely unphased by the allegations

• Those that dont care, dont care

• Those who dislike Bey use it as a means to spread further dislike

Tomorrow's the 10 year anniversary of Formation. That was such a power move. I respect the hell out of the way she took risks in her 30s, even if some of those decisions remain frustrating to this day.

The internet is a noisy place, and when something is on your algorithm, it feels like the whole world is talking about. But trust me, they aren't. I deleted social media last year and 99% of the things we cover in ATRL are no where near the radar of 99% of people.

I've honestly seen a rise in excitement towards Act3 aka Bey going Rock. I feel like people KNOW she can pull it off and carry on Tina's legacy. The energy around Act3 feels different (more exciting) than around CC. There's a lot of videos being shared that showcase her Rock-acumen in her performances and the comments underneath those videos are pretty much 99% positive.
People know she might deliver another magnum opus. That would make it 4 in her discography, which is quite ironic seeing how most acts can't even produce one

It's funny because I was told to touch grass on here when I said they are trying trying make her the female MJ with ruining her reputation. I also wish idiots would stop gaslighting as well.
