As a young black voter... it's actually quite shocking how many people don't even know that Pete is gay. It's not like he plugs his gayness into every ad or debate response. It's what the other user said, the whole "moderate" Midwestern watered-down Republican person offers nothing for black voters to want to latch onto. He doesn't excite me, personally. And for me, his responses to race-centered questions have been ****... "the racial divide lives within me" man please. Anyways. If the rumors are true about a Bernie/AOC or Bernie/Abrams ticket and Warren/Castro or Warren/Gillum ticket.... WHEW.
