4 and B'Day can switch positions for me depending on how I feel. Like I LOVE the B'Day tracks (Freakum Dress, Green Light, Suga Mama, Deja Vu and etc) and then in the same vein, I LOVE the 4 tracks (End of Time, Dance for You, Countdown, and etc)

I feel like I love them both equally.

Not when Rather Die Young was squeezed in unnecessarily to drag the whole project down. You can say the same thing to IIMW, but the sheer amount of quality made up for it.

The thing about trying to rank Beyoncé's albums is most of them have such very different goals which create very different outputs and then at that point you're not only ranking the sound and execution of the album itself but the purpose and meaning and the reasons she did it and the culture behind it. Her discography is sooo rich.

I wonder if any other popstar has switched it up so significantly as she has in the last 15 years... I feel like anyone who did change it up soon returned to their core style, whereas Beyoncé changes it up but brings her core-style along with her.
