This is based on their efficiency in creating suspense + opening the respective album adequately, both in terms of generel feel as well as lyrical and instrumental prowess.

CIL for instance is a legendary song, but it doesnt tell us that much about the album compared to Ameriican Requiem or PYCM.

Average track streams per album were never the problem, her fanbase actually engage with Bey's whole discography, otherwise she wouldn't be the artist with the most certified songs. It's the absolute monster smash, all demographic touching hit with incredible longevity that is absent.

Love Drought is truly such a surprise in terms of longevity and streams - it's the third most streamed song off Lemonade (on a daily basis) and has been that for quite some time now, which is truly astonishing seeing how songs like Freedom, Hold Up or DHY were performed way more often. (Most streamed is All Night with 340k daily currently and Formation is pulling around 116-120k)

Quality does win in the end, cause Love Drought is immaculate

2013 gets an S-, the minus only because she missed her mark and the outfits/hair left a lot to be desired.

I just came across that lady's tour on TikTok live and she definitely took inspiration from multiple Beyonce tours. I wonder why she wasn't accused of plagiarism like Beyonce always is?

Glastonbury (S): Honestly my fave, one of her rawest/rockstar sets.

SB 2013 (S): Unrivaled showmanship, not an S+ for missing her cue, set list is not my favorite but I think this halftime cemented her icon status. She could have retired here and that was a legendary run, little did we know peak was yet to come.

VMA 2014 (A): Gagged in its time, started her medley trend.

Stevie Wonder (A-): Could do with just her and Gary. I show this performance to non-Hive.

VMA 2016 (A+): I think she started upping her camerawork game here, another medley and forgotten, her fault.

Beychella (S+): Still the goat, sawry to other Coachella sets. A festival performance that is meant for a festival and fits festival standards. Important for the culture and mankind me thinks.

Beyoncé Bowl (A-): I attended this one and I'm judging from the audience, she used the entire stadium and it was kind of messy from my view. Technically great and executed so well on camera, although I think she lipped nearly all of it. I think there are performances for the camera like (VMAs 2013/2016) which aren't my fave, but some artists reheated her nachos with the camerawork and upped their storytelling game since.

VMAs 2014 is just as brilliant as 2016. What a fantastically executed medley for such a landmark album. ^{Hair and outfit were also A1 (unlike the black look from 2016)}

Couple of thoughts on her latest Valentines Day post:

• The fact that BEYONCÉ posted a random thing like this without also including a photo of Jay once again makes me wonder whether her bob is indeed a divorce bob (as it was in 2014)

• Even if she's not divorcing him, the fact that she has kept Jay so out of focus these last few years (and especially right now) indicates she KNOWS he is poisonous right now with the general public — and she's right, there's been far too much noise around him with multiple allegations and (guilty or not) her brand needs distance from him rn as she moves into a new cycle

• Regardless of the reason, it's still a bit sus for her of all people to acknowledge and celebrate Valentines Day on main without any reference at all to the man she never leaves at home. Very interesting.

• She's definitely pushing this cowgirl logo (and she's right to cos it goes hard) and I'm wondering if it'll make any showing in Act III — yes the cowboy hat feels more Cowboy Carter but let's not forget it was a main motif in the Renaissance imagery too, so it's safe to assume Act III will be full of stetsons too!

• Her being so active for no real reason is just..yeah it's odd. Wasting an entire grid spot on a curious graphic like that…and yeah it links to her merch but on instagram she hasn't even referenced that collection, so either she's cleaning up and reshuffling her grid, or she's gearing up to post something pretty big.

Also, if she truly anounces a divorce, the collapse would be real shed instantly have a "we love her again" narrative.

Not that i wish her any of that nor her family, cause divorce always sucks big time (especially for kids), but her career would very much get an unpredecedent boost
