It's a good show. I thin this specific amphitheater has a really small stage bc wtf was that. I did enjoyed the effort with the projection and loved the interludes. It's an extension of small rooms big nerves with 0.002 cents more for the budget but well

I was really surprised at the interludes. Curious to see how the show will look inside of an Arena.

Hopefully she adds a couple more songs? Stranger deserves to be a permanent song on the set. Let's see.

And idk, maybe the fact that she had to start late made them have to play a shorter set?

Stranger's exclusion is particularly weird, because she literally premiered it at the final SRBN show. I can't imagine they rehearsed and choreographed it just for one performance.

I'm happy adult size medium is there. My only real gripe is that I wanted one in a million even if it would've probably been next to impossible for her to do. Hopefully stranger comes back too

it would make sense to have stranger before play with fire. and wasn't there an interlude with the tell me that wont happen instrumental before you, from the honeymoon? hmmm two more songs on the setlist wouldn't hurt

Do we know anything about soundcheck? Did she only perform AAY?

Also curious to know if the M&G she talked about happened (at least her greeting fans and signing stuff for them) or if she just literally posed in front of 100 fans and took a group photo and then bye.

It was literally the Demi group photo situation . On the flip side, she soundchecked WDAMO, Mature, Come Clean and So Yeaterday, aside from AAY.

I wonder why Hilary said "there will be M&G" as that's clearly NOT it. It's literally a VIP showcase of a few of the songs and a group photo where you'll be just a face in a 100-person crowd. Honestly, couldn't care less about the photo.

They need to stop that fan dance on WL.

Let it happen on the soundcheck but not on the main show.

With Love is probably her best song they need to stop to make fun of that

I'll be honest, I'm a little underwhelmed by the stage. I was hoping it had a little more production and wasn't just a bigger version of the small rooms stage but I had a feeling it would be. I wonder if the proper arena shows with the two catwalks will have something extra stage/production wise?

She should just add Stranger to the setlist without taking anything out.

In fact I think she should add:

Stranger, Someone's Watching Over Me, All About You and Tell Me That Won't Happen

We would have a great 25 song setlist then.

It's so sad that we may never get to see the docu series. All of the never before seen BTS footage from the Lizzie days that they showed in one of the interludes. I feel like it would've been perfect for Disney+

Overall, I think the show was good.

The production was nice, especially the lighting, lasers, and video projections. I wasn't expecting them to project visuals onto the curtains though

I also liked the video interludes shown during the breaks.

The main negative points were the setlist and the absence of dancers.

I was quite disappointed with the setlist. It's basically the same as the SRBN setlist, with only a few extra songs. They didn't even change the running order

I was especially surprised by the absence of Stranger, Reach Out, The Getaway, and SWOM. I was even hoping for a few deeper cuts like Holiday, Lies, Happy, The Optimist, and One In A Million. She has a rich discography, they definitely need to make the setlist longer.

The lack of dancers was another missed opportunity. It would have elevated the show and made it feel more dynamic and entertaining. Something similar to the setup used during the Dignity Tour would have worked well. I don't think anyone expected her to suddenly become a powerhouse dancer, but some well-executed choreography à la Dignity era would have added a lot to the performance.

As for the styling, I actually liked it, even though I know that's not the most popular opinion. I generally prefer simple and elegant looks. That said, the outfits may have been a bit too simple for a world tour.

And honestly, those curtain-like wings she wears at the beginning really need to go

I Know some of you Wanted a bigger Production, dancers etc. For me it's better this way that the focus is on Hilary only. She does not need much. Look at Coldplay. They dont have anything extra. And expect the Dignity tour all her Tours were just her and the mic

But for real, I absolutely love hearing her vocals come through above the backtrack (even if imperfect). You could hear her so clearly at times during the SiriusXM show. My hope is that as the tour progresses, the backtrack gets quieter and quieter...

it started lighting but didn't rain during jade set so the show was paused for nearly an hour

I was panicking cause I thought that meant we would be sent home

Jade didn't finish her performance as Hilary came on immediately as the show resumed

The show wasn't much different from the small rooms tour aside from a few setlist changes

I lost it when she played play with fire and that probably my favorite performance of the night due to the special effects the song sounds amazing live I wonder if a re recording is coming

the show has backdrop videos which show Hilary life but I think it maybe a teaser of what will be in the docuseries

In the section I was in it seemed like they didn't know the luck or something songs someone next to me even commented they never heard these songs before

I thought we would have gotten a surprise guest since it was the first show but there was none

I was expecting a different show since I've seen the small rooms tour so many times online but it was still great to finally see Hilary

I do hope the setlist changes during the tour run

I think Hilary will tour again which is why she didn't perform as many old songs

I think she film something for acting after this era then drop a new album and go back on the road

Especially with the demand to see her live the show last night felt sold out they're were even people on the lawn

when I saw Gwen Stefani there no one was on the lawn for her

Our girl really knows how to work the stage and while maybe having back up dancers would have made the show look more expensive, I enjoyed how simple it was, just intimate like the SRBN show I got to attend in Toronto.

The only two things I didn't like were most of the outfits (minus the bedazzled top and the oversized tee), I just wish they would have found somebody to designed outfits that she could wear every night, just like they did for the Dignity tour.

And also I was expecting Stranger, The Getaway and The Optimist to make the setlist, but I know the songs will be rotating throughout the whole tour, so we'll see!
