Just realized that Roommates is in the top 100 on radio (95).

Unfortunately album, didn't grow on me at all, I've been enjoying her interviews more than her music.

I blame producer the most for not guiding her how to sing on it (same thing I complained on Selena's last album). You guys can't convince me that she doesn't sound bored and flat on the whole album? I blame producer, because look how she sounded on Sparks, there was personality in her delivery. These vocals sound like Tyra would say 'dead behind the eyes'. Every single word on the whole album is sang the same.

Also too many lyrics, too wordy, too much trying to tell without making songs actually catchy or listenable (just like JLO's TIMN).

Love how emotive and expressive Hilary's vocals are on the new album. The Optimist, Adult Sized Medium, Tell Me That Won't Happen, Mature, Holiday Party, You, From The Honeymoon, Roommates and all the Mellow tracks showcase a Hilary at her most vulnerable and range. Especially the TMTWH adlibs.

This is the most entertaining press I've seen so far, loving this

The add libs in tmtwh are my favorite - i need more background vocals on her deluxe or new album. Also I need to give credit - Mature really was the perfect first song, it's truly such a bop and is such a high on the album. Album honestly has no skips - truly so good.

And I love how belty she sounds during the WFT chorus. I mean, when I hear Hilary sing 80% of the time I feel like she sounds like she is holding back power, a little throaty, somewhat kinda like she wanted to sound extra soft. And sometimes she surprises and sing louder like in this one - It suits her so much and got me so fast on first listen that I think that this first impression made me like the album right away!

Skipless album. Deserves a grammy.
