"They show up out of no where" not everyone was on ATRL 20 years ago. There were various platforms for Hilary fans and some of us weren't even online as we were literally kids.

We are all enjoying the new music along with the upcoming tour, but we also don't need to be delusional and can call out her team.

I've not seen anyone be angry over it. Most people just expressed their opinion and disappointment over that situation as it went viral.

From what I can see everyone is enjoying the music including myself. I've had the album on replay and I've just brought the "mine" Happy hour version on iTunes. Cheers

I agree it was very shadey of the label to do this, considering we haven't seen one real signature yet from her website or topshop, they should have did an exclusive limited bundle like BIBO fanjoy release. Apparently this happened to Cardi as well who's also on Atlantic.

Then again, I'm not out here trying to get a refund either like some others, which I think is a BIT much imo.

Tate's wasn't autopen, she allegedly had someone else do the signatures (mine included), not as fake looking but still didn't look the same as her usual. Complained and got a refund out of that

Wondering if she'll do a deluxe after this big first week, considering how far we are from the end of the era cause of the 2027 tour dates

I think a deluxe is fair. A Greatest Hits (Mine) compilation. Her releasing This Heart (Is Mine) officially then a new album in 2028 is more than fine by me. Mature is essentially the older sister of Metamorphosis. We need a Most Wanted 2.0, Dignity 2.0 and BIBO 2.0 then she can rightfully retire

I think she's done with sparkly gliterry pop and her material will be more singer-songwriter kind of pop because This Heart was supposed to be the start of that and she finally accomplished that with this album. I don't see her going back tbh. I too miss it but she mentioned several times that this album needs to "sound like me" so this is her. And this is her sound.

Weather for Tennis actually sounded like an ELIO song to me when I first heard it so maybe that's the kind of pop we'll be getting, which fortunately I'm very into.

Just finished a listen through of BIBO (Sparks through Outlaw (a crime we'll never get that in true lossless)). The record obviously holds up and has some of her most infectious bops, but Luck feels like a much more genuine record to me. Her vocals on Luck are also so clear across the board. One of my issues with BIBO is you can really tell which producers knew how to work with her vocal stylings and which didn't. No wonder Confetti, the title track and Arms Around a Memory sound so good (thank you Mr. Koma).

Two great albums, but between the lyrical vulnerability, vocal production, and overall cohesiveness, Luck (to me) is a more rewarding and moving listen. BIBO will always be a gem that should've received more love from the GP though

Yeah for sure and I think Hilary said as much! She loves BIBO but admitted it's a bit all over the place/a mismatch. It's a great pop album but this album feels so distinctly her. I love how vulnerable it is.
