I'm hoping that's the late night appearance, it wasted on a gossip girl episode when she appeared as Olivia Burke.

I think it will be in New York when she goes next month, for that performance at hard rock.

I remember my aunt taped that episode of Jimmy Kimmel for me. I rewatched it like a hundred times because 11-year-old me was gagged by the With Love and Stranger choreo. It was the first time I had seen Hilary do choreo. I know we mock the WL choreo now, but I was truly gagged.

My mom would also tape her appearances when I was away 😂 sad I lost some of those vhs tapes.

I've received all of my vinyls and CDs now except for the LP from Graffiti Records. It should be here tomorrow. I know everyone is super pissed about the autopen situation, and I am a little bit because I ordered my signed vinyl as soon as they went on sale and it's autopenned (and so is my CD). But what I'm more sick of than autopen from these artists is that most are not even signing the actual items anymore. The product name in their store is "luck...or something signed vinyl," but what they are actually selling you is a vinyl + a "signed" photo. I'm not the type to frame my signed albums, so wtf am I gonna do with a signed photo? I want the actual LP jacket or CD booklet signed. I'm more irritated by this becoming the norm than I am about the autopen (only bc they didn't charge extra for the signed version).

I am so happy and full of joy with this album! It is sooo good. And it is also such a full circle moment. I joined ATRL back in 2005, because I was a Hilary stan and here we are more than 20 years later, and her music is better than ever.

I love so many of the songs on the album: The Optimism, Weather for Tennis, Holiday Party, You, from the Honeymoon and the first 2 singles.

but oh boy, isn't Adult Size Medium the best song ever recorded? It is sooo absolutely phenomenal. The passage of time and how we make through life just hits so different. What an epic closer and what an epic song.

I really love how a handful of the new songs start off with a random little noise in the first few seconds. Like the (tribal?) humming sound on Roommates, the uneasy buzzing sound on WDT, the neat little "fluttering" on Mature, and of course the sound of the auto pen machine doing its thing on Holiday Party

But for real those little details just tickle me in the best way
