i'm still not entirely sure about it, there's a lot of good material here but i do feel all the posts saying she's not that distinct as a personality on it (bought a cd anyway)

some of the comments made me think i was about to listen to the most boring pop album of the last few years when in fact the album is completely fine short and cute, doesn't overstay its welcome, i actually like it a lot.

She's #2 in the UK midweek albums chart (7,907 copies shifted so far... #1 has 15K and #3 has 6.1k). She's also #99 (bittersweet) and #97 (bad enough) on the UK midweek singles chart.

Her album is doing extremely well in the UK. It'll probably debut in the Top 5. Last week, the #10 album sold 6k and #5 sold 8k. She's on track to debut with around 10-11k, which should put her comfortably in the top 5... if not top 5, then top 10 for sure.

It is a similar sound to the 2nd album but without her personality imo. Sounds to me like demos that were never truly developed. She always managed to find a great balance between pop hits/mellow ballads while adding her personality and amazing vocals

destroy where ? I very much enjoy SBS and LS. Comparing albums to explain why I enjoy a particular one more is not the tragedy you think it is.

This album is her best for sure, and You're still everything is the best imo, i gotta purchase a vinyl.

The way she keeps on winning. bittersweet is #99 in the UK this week. at the BBH100 she's predicted at #68 with bittersweet" and "bad enough" predicted to enter at #100.
