Did she elaborate on what real showgirlship is? I mean someone who has been around as long as her should be aware how such a statement would be spun when one of her main peers is releasing an album about that concept...

 

And Taylor is one of the hardest working people in the industry, so many albums, so many huge tours, she's a true showgirl.

Yeah, this. Taylor herself even said the album was more about what happens behind the scenes of being on stage.
