Simple question.  With where you are at in your life, are you financially where you want to be?

- What type of savings do you have currently?

- What are some of your goals?

Not good, not bad I'm in between where I can buy things, eat food that I want, travel and save things for myself 

I am in a place where Karol G posted on IG last month that she was in Mexico city and I traveled 10 hrs later to see if she did a pop up surprise concert in mexico.(She did not but thanks queen for bringing me to a Latin country love my Latinos) And now I am going to Paris in 2 weeks to see her cabaret show. 🥰

Where are you from? OMG I was in CDMX this summer too  

I'll be much better off now that I've chopped my car insurance more than half. It's insane how much of my money was going towards that. I'll be able to save a lot more now a month. Overall, though, I'm somewhat stable. I couldn't afford another big bill.

 

It's been very telling catching glimpses of the bank accounts of other people. It definitely puts things into perspective. A lot of people are just barely making it.

My homophobic father died in May and I got 95k and used it to get a condo get furniture and fix my car. Love my new condo and So happy😊 his death was very healing/beneficial for me 🤷‍♂️

Can I be honest? I keep wanting more and more and more. I should be happy with the amount I make but I am not satisfied!

Let's live it up papi(or mami). I was in CDMX, Puerto Vallarta and oxaca. Fell in love with Puerto vallarta looks like Medellin if Medellin was next to the ocean. And CDMX second time here. Love perreo, so lots of that. Haha

I'm happy for you and what you were able to do with the money but people seriously need to consider always investing! As much as you can. It's the only way to grow your money. 

I am in a horrible spot right now. I decided to return to get my Masters Degree, but the only issue is they're cutting all the jobs in my field that my Masters would be useful for.  

 

I owe crippling debt due to a really bad manic episode, and have a lot of student loans. My aim is to be better off financially five-years from now, but right now my diet consists of bologna sandwiches and cucumbers.

I was in Mexico for the first time this year  

 

PV trip early March, and CDMX was end of June. It's such a beautiful country

I started 401K when I was about 23, wish I started sooner. But after Covid about 5 years ago, my 401K really has grown a lot.

 

I work for a credit union and consider myself financially responsible, but def wish I was more educated with investing/investments.

i'm happy with my parent's money and they usually get me what i want but i'm very not happy with where i am in life 

 

so that basically cancels it out 

No because these rich ******* and their ticket prices.

Everything was good, till Covid happened and then my mental breakdown last year ****** me even more. 

No I finally got a diagnosed appointment but I don't have the money for it so I'm forever going to be a girl with borderline asburgers with no help.

 

 

 

Plus I spend most my money on SKZ stuff when I'm depressed

I feel you on that. I finished my bachelors during Covid, and while I'm so thankful I did, it was a tough era for me. 
 

However, it helped me career wise significantly. Please be patient, I'm sure you can find something appropriate for your degree. 
 

It's remarkable alone simply having that completed.

I feel you on this. Aside from being a child and going on a summer vacations with family, I haven't really gone on a "real" vacation till I was like 31/32. 
 

Im budgeting differently now to ensure I can do atleast one or two vacations a year on top of me visiting family on the east coast. Definitely traveling on a budget for sure!   But flights to Mexico are so cheap, I couldn't resist two trips this year
