This is tough honestly, they both executed these influences flawlessly

I love the subway, and it's unfair to compare it to one of the best song of one of the greatest pop stars ever.  

i do like the subway but i think august will remain that gworl

August, especially the outro when instruments come rushing back in is so good. 

I hate how syrupy august sounds so it's easily The Subway.

august is the better written song and the instrumental is better too. I do like Chapel's song a lot though. It's just a bit more generic.

The belting outro is the best part of The Subway, and I just don't really love t swift when she's trying to be a vocalist
