China bans OnlyFans

Featured Replies

Quote

China has officially banned OnlyFans, the UK based platform widely known for adult content. This move is part of the country's larger effort to tighten control over online content and eliminate what it calls "immoral and degenerate Western influence." OnlyFans, which allows creators to monetise exclusive content-often adult-themed- has been under scrutiny by several countries for its open platform structure. Beijing's decision aligns with its broader digital campaign to ensure that internet platforms reflect "core socialist values" and do not promote content that it sees as harmful to public morality or social stability. The ban reflects China's growing determination to shape its digital space by limiting foreign influence and reinforcing cultural and ideological standards in line with government policies. This move adds to a series of recent crackdowns on Western apps and media platforms in China, all aimed at reshaping the country's online ecosystem to fit state-approved narratives and values.

Well, they'll use a VPN to bypass it as usual.

The CPC hates fun. They're less bigots and more dour killjoys that want everyone to be sexless worker drones. Their crusade against BL content is even worse than this

Let the Chinese girlies and gays live u losers

China has its own social platform that’s like OnlyFans so this isn’t surprising. One of my favorite vloggers is very active on it.

FansOne? It's banned in China too, but Hong Kongers do have access to it

If that's who you're paying a monthly fee for, then yeah, it should be banned.

It actually can't be understated how much they hate fun, from limiting video game time for under 18s to the infamous K-pop promo ban and throwing BL authors in jail

But I'm sure at least one person on this site will defend this for safeguarding the Chinese people against the encroachment of Western degeneracy

is the gif from the thing that I think it's from? :rip: No way-

More like they don't want gay stuff spreading online and making everyone gay like sister Hong content where supposed str8t married men were sleeping with a cross dresser and they knew it.

Classic world Homophobia as usual. It never ends, even when it's consenting adults.

Honestly, good for them

I hope the next big thing involves dismantling all these companies that profit from independent creators & making it trendy to not conform to the norm :gaycat:
