The song started out really promising, even having the biggest Spotify peak for a female song this year.

 

However, it's already out of Billboard charts, UK charts and other official charts.

It's also about to fall out of the top 100 in Spotify, less than 5 months after being released 

 

This is no shade to Gaga, for her standards this is amazing, but the song is lacking compared to last year hits.

 

So what went wrong?

It's just peaked. Roll on the next single.

Brazil can keep you on the charts for only so long.

Because the song is mediocre at best.

It will comeback on the Halloween weekend.

Too elaborated, refined and sophisticated for the simple general public to be appreciated, it's too good for them and they feel out of place and a kind of guilt when they listen to it, like something forbidden 

The very definition of a meme song, but it'll mostly like make a comeback in October

 

For a 2025 solo Gaga single I think Abra did really well. It's a great track, it has a great video, it has great performances. Definitely a win for her and for the fans. 
 

It's also ATRL so Monsters will overplay its performance, OGHs will underplay it. People hate to hear it, but Beyonce is her closest commercial comparison and Abra performed on par or better than anything from CC. What more are y'all expecting? In that vein, most of y'all trying to drag Gaga for its performance are only dragging your own faves.

How exactly does a song that a) came out 5 months ago, b) is still in the top 100 and outlasted several H100 #1s from the past few years and, c) currently the most streamed female song of the year on Spotify to date translate to "poor longevity"? 

 

 

 

No amount of OGH threads will change the fact that Abracadabra is the biggest female hit of 2025. 
 

Abra did great. With all the buzz that it had online if could have done even bigger streaming numbers

Nnnnnn they keep forgetting they're dragging one of the only few hits this year that actually has the potential to clear 1 billion+ streams in the future
