Hopefully this goes top 10 today however if some funny business happens then the song will have a final chance in September during album release week. The radio audience will be high and they haven't used the direct to sales website versions or sped up and slow down versions so I'm sure they'll wait to use those for one final peak with the boost in streams for the release week.

 

that said, I can see this going #1 on urban and rhythmic radio. Maybe top 30/40 on on top 40 in August/September since they play things later in the run.

 

im more excited about her future releases that she stand by and is not pushed out by the label (even if they were right).

 

im sure this can easily go 2x platinum if not triple platinum in the long run.

It's remaining really stable on everything (but Spotify, of course), I am kind of surprised at how stable it is.

i thought of that as well, just like a cute montage of her and stefon kissing and clubbing or something like that

we probably are getting the surprise in ~7 hours if nothing changes, i think it's an album trailer and she had to fix some edits

Not for nothing, I hate the concept of labels releasing the sped up/slowed down, and instrumental version of songs to boast chart positions. If it's a hit, it's a hit, and all of that isn't needed. I get that these versions can make or break a song going number 1, but I feel like it just water downs the stat. The labels need to negotiate with these steaming platforms for they can get more money per stream and the artist need to make better songs.
