it only has like ~1M less US streams than bongos its debut week, but this is solo and if it had a video it would've been a lot higher than bongos and all her other singles 

her lack of promo is annoying, like would it kill you to film a tiktok girl…

A video might've added 200,000K extra streams.

 

Also AM peaks vary on competition. Taylor was wrecking AM in 2023.

you can look at talk of the chart predictions and compare the streams if you like, and even with low competition stop trying to undermine an AM #1

You are right AM#1 and top 10 for the rest of the week is a pretty big deal compared to a 25 peak.

Of course not. Cardi was fighting against her label for the full release of the song. Why would she film a video?

 

This song proved a few points: 1) a summer bop 2) a top 10 3) the hip hop community is still on board 

 

I think they are going to focus on a new song this summer and let this song roll out as a summer anthem.
