It'll hit urban probably in August and then rhythmic in September since the Drake payola push is massive but the good thing is once Drake hits #1 it crashes out at -2000 and Cardi's song tend to linger longer so it's possible right around the VMAs/album release it'll peak on radio.

 

This is why I think her label didn't release slowed down/sped up and more versions of Outside because top 10 was already secured and they'll put out the direct to sales/consumers releases in September for a final boost.

Yes, I don't keep up with the other girls even though I love me some Meg so I don't know the exact numbers but I'm sure her fanpages will post the updated stats once it hits #1.

Kinda wishing and hoping that she secretly shot a music video for this. The song is holding up pretty well and a MV would give it that boost to apply the pressure

I understand your feelings but realistically I can't see it happening.

 

She was not planning to release this but her label saw the viral reaction.

 

The label ended up being right as this is a song for the hip hop culture and for the summer. 

 

I'm sure the song she plans to put out next is something she wants to carry for much longer.

 

I think she's going to put out a video for songs she wants to push so I doubt a video is coming.

 

That said, this will be another platinum top 10 hit for her and she'll be able to use future songs she wants released to keep the momentum going.
