She will have a real single with promotion/music video next month and another one that she will promote during album release week.. that's my guess

There's a very low chance "the real single" is as good as Outside.

 

She released Hot S**t after Up FFS.

 

If she has other aces in her sleeve, then Am I The Drama has potential to be the rap SOS.

 

Outside is perfect for the summer. It's already catching on as a catchphrase, emotionally relatable but turn up. She should just capitalise on it. Summer is already underway. You can't release Song Of The Summer this late.

Adele released Easy On Me to record 22M streams. Then all 12 tracks off 30 did 60M.

 

"The real single" hasn't been working in the streaming era. You either capitalise or don't. Cardi and her team will be very dumb if they GTFO Outside to release their With You

If she truly has the perfect single, let Outside be a legit hit, get the hype train going before moving on. Let Outside be her It's Like That before releasing her We Belong Together.

 

I still think that's very highly unlikely.

 

If she relegates Outside to droplet status for "no promo" stan bragging rights then they are very very dumb. That's literally what they did with WAP not submitting it to the Grammys, taking that moment for granted.
