That's why they need to have a video ready on Friday and get that radio play going, this could do some numbers if they actually try to promote it, still viral on TikTok.

I really love how certain people tried to spread lies and conspiracies(as always) that she was shelved. Dropped. She was over. No one cared or knew about this release. And this song that she didn't even wanna put out yet or before the album is doing this well. Something Cardi has always had on her side others don't is that she has a fan base but also has that gp root factor others don't have. Her songs always have relatability because they seem genuine and fun. She always adds some comedic lyrics that are memorable and you know they're not put there on purpose. That's just Cardi b.  She has always been like this even before she made it big.

imo they should move on, this is a cute moment but i genuinely don't see it being a HIT. it was more viral as a snippet than it was when it was released tbh, and thats partially her fault for doing absolutely no promotion for it. it did what needed to be done, and maybe they should push it a lil more but i think its not worth it to send it to radio and film a video etc.

All she has to do in the music video is walk in NY streets lipsyncing to the song while curving some men, Sex And The City vibes. Think of Cassie Long Way 2 Go.

 

Her going to a luxury brand store to try on clothes with her besties... her trifling ex crashes the store on some The Idol "Let me catch you lookin at her again" scene... He embarrasses himself, humiliatingly gets kicked out while Cardi and her girls try on some fashion looks. Coinciding with the end of the 2nd verse they go outside looking fresh... Then strangers join her entourage, the hang out gradually becoming a block party by the final chorus.

 

A fun simple concept like this is all they need.
