only Gaga & Tate Mcrae seem to be active among the main popgirls rn...I love when there are at least like 5 main popgirls active at the same time and slaying together tbh

Is touring partly to blame? It seems like everyone is going on long tours now and so they dont have time to promote, do performances on televised or streamed events or even to film music videos

The pandemic seems to have killed long eras and actual promo. Everyone's content to just make Instagram stories now and call it a day.

Well I can tell you for sure that videos are no longer big priorities for most labels it seems, it's all about live performances now and 'activations' (I hate that term ). Things that people can film in person and share and go viral are what "moves the needle" (I hate that term too ) now.
