Make a romantic scavenger hunt for him which ends with him at a dentist's office forced to get it fixed

mentioning that you've been to the dentist, or going to the dentist usually does the trick ….makes them become self conscious about themselves not keeping up with their dental needs, 10/10 works.

atrl has the most unhinged threads ever like wtf is this avi.thumb.gif.5e3caf8e01f2ce481479df54c0

Do you get the vibe that he's one of those people that's sensitive to criticism even when said nicely?

I dated a guy like this and at some point when it got too much to the extent that it was killing my attraction to him (he'd lean over to kiss me and my first thought would be, 'omg the odour'), I had to gently and nicely tell him his breath stank, he took it well and fixed it.

He's a doctor, but has poor oral hygiene? I've been at the club a few times, and even when twinks are just talking to me, I find myself trying to turn my head away. I get that dental appointments aren't cheap in this economy, but if you can smell it, it must be seriously decayed and bad.

I always make sure to carry extra strength mints and mouth spray if I'm going out or expecting to kiss someone. I feel it's important to be fresh, so I wouldn't feel comfortable kissing anyone without having them on hand.

Why not just be upfront?

I don't understand how a whole ass doctor doesn't realize the importance of visiting a dentist every 6 months and flossing or using interdental brushes.

This.

Tell him in the best way you can.

Yes

Tell him that you need a new dentist, ask him about his dentist, and then ask him when the last time he had an appointment with his dentist was. Then, try to book an appointment with his dentist together

Having bad breath is one of my worst fears and this is coming from someone who goes to the dentist regularly :rip:

yea i would probably try the 'monkey see, monkey do' trick with frequent mentions of dentist appointments and hygiene appointments. something like 'oh I need to book a visit with my dentist/hygienist, i've not been in a while' and if he says something like 'me neither' just follow it up with 'you should probably go, you don't want to end up toothless by the time you hit 40' and emphasize the importance of taking care of your natural teeth instead of getting veneers or some sh*t that's not good for your mouth anyway

if that doesn't work, then just be upfront but try to be as nice and sensitive as possible, he WILL feel very bad and self-conscious about it
