I honestly think that the album is called that because of how she's recently embracing her femininity. She already mentioned that this album is a rebirth, so this could relate to "virgin" in a sense of rediscovering yourself again. Thus, it's not literal.

Anyway the cover and title are great conceptually so I may have to tap back into her after not really liking much of her stuff after PH, especially if she's saying What Was That isn't indicative of the entire record.
