1989 summer starting tomorrow.

 

Im not here for another botched era, i love love love folkmore but the way those era was cut short because of the re-record forever bugs me. If she treat TS10 like that i will unstan. Folkmore should be a long era with multiple singles for each album. 

 

July: Cardigan on folklore release week snatch the No.1 then abandon it

August: Exile follow two week after and should be the main radio singles for the era

1st week Dec: Launch Willow with evermore

Perform those 3 songs at the Grammy to capture folkmore era

March and April 2021 : Release the experimental Cowboy like me and Right where you left me video. Those songs are not gonna be hits but with right video can become cult classic. 

July 2021: Release August with massive push, the song deserve it all

Nov 2021: Release Tis the damm season, push it as a holiday classic for years to come

 

 

Should be like that. Then ***** can move on and release the re-recording

Not mixtape slander in the new thread already. I’ve been hammering it this week. The singles are immaculate as ever, Tim McGraw is truly the essential Taylor song. I would be happy if it’s the next re-recording because some of them really need an upgrade, Stay Beautiful will pop in a whole new way. Either way, it should be a surprise release. A long Red TV-esque wait won’t be cute

 

Expect new announcement 7-8 hours from now.

1989 was in my top two or three Taylor albums for years but I kind of fear Mixtape TV might literally bump it to the bottom three, starting to realize Pop Taylor just truly isn’t on the same level as the rest

 

I want SN TV tho, If This Was A Movie is coming to collapse even harder than TWILY did I’m shaking

I can do another fleshed-out post as to why Peak Low is actually a pop-punk album disguised as country like tomorrow or something, but I’ll just share a thot to get the idea marinating a biT: so she obv only had self-written songs on the standard album to disprove the misogynistique criticisms and such, but top 10 hit If This Was A Movie was co-written with the guy from Boys Like Girls. That means definitively that there are other Rocklor bangers that were left off the album because she wrote them with other punk girlies, oh yes. Maybe even with Hayley, hew knows. And it’s perfect timing to drop them given the emo TikTok renaissance, the Zoomers who weren’t alive for MySpace will lap it up yes gawd
