i love the 2 singles and i'll obviously love the album as well but damn did that magazine's reporter lie his ass off cause "sonic departure" where ? all the snippets sound like her usual sound

Gorgeous album. The vocal mixing juxtaposed with the production is just so lush and she created the perfect album to listen to in the car on hot summer days and at home on cool summer nights

She's perfect! Not an album for every day, but so soothing amid the chaos. The opening track broke my heart, it's well on its way to becoming one of my favorites from her catalog

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I think what is the best for her at this point it's going full indie. She already reached a loyal and a somewhat big fanbase, and especially, respect and acclaim by the critics and the music industry as a whole. She'll be fine if goes independent. Now, as she is a mom, her priorities are obviously her kid and we all know how major record labels don't like and treat their female artists when they become mothers.

Just started and the vibe of this album is perfect so far. Beautiful.

Why did I think the release would be global rather than local? Lemme fly to New Zealand real quick 

Can't wait to listen to this on the way to the gym, on the way to work, on the way back home and on the way to the Jazz festival I'm going to

I don't find it similar to Red Moon at all. I don't think it sounds like any of her albums tbh. 

 

This is old school r&b, soft rock, it's very spacey and vibey. I would even say it's psychedelic pop at times.
