My f-cking god. Halfway through and Silk Lingerie is so insanely good. Potentially her best ever. I ADORE this album so far. Kali delivering per usual.

Why is this low key her best album, deserved BNM

Must've listened to a different album than some of y'all. This is not Red Moon in Venus 2.0. Don't know if it's recency bias, but this is her best album ever. AOTY of 2025 so far for me.

Hmmmmm at first listen sounds so cohesive that it gets to a point where it's monotonous lol, a good album but I think my least fav from her, For: You was an instant match, I loved it! Let's see if the album grows on me.

her albums always do this to me but then 3rd and 4th listen everything starts standing out and you start seeing the nuances and differences hidden inside

huge fan of RMIV but for some reason this whole thing is just going in one ear and out the other. maybe i'm just not in the mood for it today

I don't find it similar to Red Moon at all. I don't think it sounds like any of her albums tbh.

This is old school r&b, soft rock, it's very spacey and vibey. I would even say it's psychedelic pop at times.

Can't wait to listen :duca:

for the rest of us waiting for tomorrow, we got a Zane Lowe interview

It's super cohesive. I remember RMIV took forever to grow on me because it was very cohesive as well... may be the same deal here.

She sounds beautiful tho!

My vinyl just came ❤️ It's super pretty, the album as well. She could never miss.

I do think i need more spins, cause on the firsr listen nothing really stood out (maybe only It's Just Us). But as a whole it's absolutely pretty and warm!

what's everyones top 3

Silk Lingerie, Territorial, Heaven is a Home, Lose My Cool, All I Can Say are my top 5… I think. In no particular order.

Can someone share the alternative artworks in HQ please? Thinking of changing the cover

She is a genius in curating her discography. This album reaffirms who she is as an artist, once again you see she is not here for the fame and to grab easy hits (which she could easily do), she is an artist in all of the sense of the word. The album is dark, psychedelic at times, touches of old school r&b, soft rock, spacey, trippy, her voice floats for over 50 minutes like candy. She is surely one of the best artists of the last ten years. It's insane to release an album like this after Orquideas which was great, she is the genre, she is ******* Kali Uchis.

Its a very cute, concise, pretty album. Not much really stands out on the first listen, no where near as some songs on Red Moon in Venus did but overall I very much enjoyed it, a really good album to put on in the background while I'm working, or going for a walk, reading etc.

For You, Silk Lingerie & Fall Apart are so beautiful :heart2:

she must be protected at all costs. the consistency in her work is a testament to her talent. wow. and she's working on another album already after this and touring too? we don't deserve her

This album is beautiful, so so beautiful. Probably her best.

Listened to this in full last night and honestly, I think I need some more time with it. The album is beautifully produced and very sensual, sultry and emotionally heavy. But like others already mentioned, it is very cohesive. Matter of fact, it's cohesive to the point that many of the tracks sound similar, resulting in a lack of obvious standouts.

Based on my first listen my favorites are

Heaven is a Home…

Lose My Cool,

Territorial

Daggers!

Angels Around Me… (my favorite)

Sunshine & Rain

ILYSMIH

But outside of that it was kinda one ear in, one ear out. Maybe after some more listens it will connect better. But this is kinda derivative of her signature sound on Isolation & Red Moon In Venus on my initial listen if i'm just being honest.

Angels All Around Me is so good in the second half. It reminds me of Janet Jackson a little bit.

The music on this album is even more stunning than that cover, might be her best work yet
