I like WTRC, I was listening to it on repeat while I was in London for their O2 Show, but it isn't really a strong Sugababes song. This however sounds like a proper bop.

And with Anya Jones (who has written for Kylie's Tension) on board, we are in for a treat!

Tbh they were very notorious for their bridges. They were always the perfect opportunity for a member to shine, usually Heidi. I reaaaaaaaally hope this one has one too.

Man I can't help but think about The Lost Tapes and its wasted potential. They had the perfect collaborators, the timing was just right with indie-pop-rock in full swing, so many great songs, they were still in their 20s with a lot of hype around their comeback, and their last hits weren't that long ago at all.

 

With this upcoming era, things just feel so up in the air. When The Rain Comes was such a disappointment; I'm praying this single is better.

I just hope their team/label/themselves are realistic. As much as I want to see them succesful, it's not something to put every expectation on. If they have plenty of material ready, they should stick with it and keep going. Keep the momentum going and release an other body of work.

No more months of crickets.

Yeah, hope they have 0 expectations of having a single chart at all (especially as some scrap everything after underperforming). Legacy artists are all about the singles getting good press so the album goes #1 and then tour arenas. 

Found a second 20 seconds snippet and my hype lowkey went down the drain.

I just know I'll favor When the Rain Comes so much more... but this could be a good sign, if I don't love it then that usually means the GP will.

This sounds like a generic club song that'd play at your local JD gym released by the likes of Becky Hill or Ella Henderson.

 

Still, the girls do sound good here though and the lyrics might salvage this.

I just can't imagine something like Push The Button being released now by anyone, it had such a uniquely 2000s sound.

 

About You Now is more plausible, but by a more pop-rock leaning act which the UK does not have very many of at the moment.

What I mean is more upbeat, I don't want it to be generic. Praying it won't be. I just want a big pop banger.

I will continue to Stan and view the group as a different entity from their fanbase which brought me close to suicide.

It was finished last year (in August) and it's confirmed to be released this year! My guess is in the Summer, after the tour is over.
