Change a lyric from a song that would elevate it

It bothers me so much in GOYK when Nicki Minaj says "I'm on my Kate Perry" instead of "I'm on my Katy Perry" :rip:

And if someone called them Nick Minaj you know a coke rant would start :rip:

Boy Bye - CHLOE

(She doesn't have to curse all the time, it makes it seem like she's trying too hard.)

Quote

Boy, bye
Bye
I won't even cry
I'm tired of your drama
Boy, bye
Bye
I won't even cry
Go live wit'cha momma

Boy, bye

I won't even cry
You stupid motherfucker
Boy, bye

If B ever does an ethereal folk album or a rom-com soundtrack, I hope she gives Jon McLaughlin a call. I feel like Chris Martin, Jon, and Ryan Tedder together could really make something anthemic and light for Beyoncé.

"Lay you down, like 1 2 3" kinda makes no sense. It could've just been "Lay you down, right next to me" or something

"I'm working late, 'cause I'm a singer" should be "I'm working late, 'cause I'm a sinner"

Kesha should have released the demo version cos this album version is just terrible :rip:

ooh this one is GOOD

"now i'm down bad crying on the floor" the gym line annoys me so much cause she only used 'gym' so that it rhymes with 'him'

Rewrite the whole Venus with less camp lyrics and it would be the biggest single ever.

I dont listen to his music but I always hear Chris Brown's "Under the Influence" on the radio and it kills me everytime he sings

"You don't know what you did, did to me, your body lightweight, speaks to me".

instead of

"You don't know what you did, did to me, your body language, speaks to me".

Like body language followed by speaks to me would make much more sense. Language… speaks to me… such an obvious double entendre missed right there. :rip:

In get free by Lana she sings 'sometimes it feels like I've got a war in my mind' but i always heard it as 'hole in my mind' and i prefer that, it sounds more dramatic and makes me think of shooting yourself in the head Mary Alice style

Avril - "Don't leave me hanging in a city so dead out here on the ledge."

Kylie - "Brightest of the stars, from another racing 'cross the galaxy like Jupiter and Mars."

Katy - "You're from a whole nother world."

Britney - "And even I know They're tellin' me this isn't smart."

Jason - "Try that in a small town I can't stay hard anymore."

Marina - "I'm already high, watch my life go bling, bling listen as I sing, sing."

Kylie explained in her Apple Music interview that when she first heard the instrumental demo for Supernova, there was a vocodered voice mumbling at the beginning of the song which she thought sounded like a little space creature, so she wrote Supernova from the perspective of an alien from a different galaxy. Jupiter was used here because that is the baby name of Sky Adams (the producer of this track and the one who made the instrumental), so Kylie wanted it to be a little Easter Egg for him.

"There's a vocoder voice at the start of the song. In my mind, it's the voice of a little space creature who's my friend in the song. I'm always drawn to celestial words and imagery, so this was a fun chance to play with all those elements [...] If you weren't awake before 'Supernova', you're awake by the time it starts."

Oof, a video would have gone a long way toward making that a bit clearer.
