That teaser got me excited for the remix, my guesses are Normani and Teyana

 

 

This theatrical type of teaser is an example of what I mean build up the hype and give us SOMETHING! She can easily do this with her roll outs. Create visuals that bring the viewer in and get people excited for the product you are about to put out. Word of mouth and dancing in your bathroom doesn't cut it. THIS is what I want from her. 

 

I love how the chairs reveal a hat from an undisclosed singer/rapper and the only clue is the hat revealing the state the singer or rapper is from. I knew she had a creative brain cell left in that foggy mom brain of hers. 

 

On another note; I'm hoping a visual of some sort was filmed otherwise I don't see thing remix going anywhere. The attention span for music is at an all time low and just dropping a song especially from a person like Ciara isn't gonna cut it. 

 

On a sort off topic note in regards the Ecstasy single roll out: 

 

I noticed she did a roll out similar to Level Up where she did this random photo shoot that had nothing to do with the music video or the song itself. Looks like she did the same for Ecstasy which was a bummer. Her standing on top of that pool table looked so cinematic and promising and we still don't know what that was for. That's why I mean by messy roll outs. She just does all these random things that lead to nothing.

We will see what this remix is giving and what comes with it.

The guessing the name thing was smart to get people talking, I need her to tease it a little but more. All the DDG/Halle Diddy drama is just clouding all the new music coming out.

1. She can create visuals, a story or a documentary for the album. Make a series of videos that lead up the album release that way a group of people become invested. Start small and work your way up to something big. 
 

2. She can rent out a studio and create a "live" performance visual of Ecstasy (with live band background dancers) and post it on her YouTube/vevo. Maybe also shoot up and coming singles as well and do a live performance rendition series of all the new singles/songs. 

 

3. Do q&a with fans for fan engagement on Twitter/X every week. Talk and engage to different fans. She always talks to the same three stans. Retweet, like and repost videos or tweets etc so the fans feel seen by her 
 

4. Get on live with TikTok or Instagram and encourage the fans directly to pre order the album. Talk to the fans and have a good time but also encourage fans to purchase the music. 

 

5. Do some kind of endorsement/album bundle to increase sales. 

 

6.  Have a streaming party with fans (she did this with the EP, but she didn't promote it well so it was kinda a flop). 


 

There are so many ways you can go on and promote your music and directly engage to get sales. She just creatively bankrupt and trapped in a box.

 

The live performance thing makes me think back to 2020 when everybody was doing it. It worked so well idk why they stopped

lol I clocked that once the video for ecstasy did not match the photoshoots. 

 

Also I think her creative director is Jamaica which is why everything seems lazy af or last minute thrown together. She needs a new team (or a REAL team) but she is stubborn.  

 

The fact the we have not gotten televised live performances or professionally shot live performances for any of her newer songs is very telling. 

 

I'm also tired of the goodies/1-2 step/Level up melody..........

I am too! Ever since she stopped using a live band in her performance and just using a pre recorded live track I noticed the quality in her performances have declined. 

Even how she keeps explaining that the album will grow is so… sloppy.

 

how you been working on an album for 5 years but all the records won't be on the initial release?? And there's already an ep?

Also, I need yall to understand that these constructive critiques and feedback aren't meant with malace though some of us are obviously more passionate than others with it. 

 

HOWEVER, I'm so SICK of you please me yes people that do not hold Ciara to the standard we know she can do. It's why it's an endless cycle of no growth and each era is a mess. Don't "nag" and " compain" when she flops and cancels an era midway then. Keep that same energy boo! 

 

It appears that the album has been pushed back to 8/22. That is the new date on Amazon and iTunes. More than likely done so the physical copies and vinyls can include the newer songs as well. She'll more than likely announce it tonight along with the ecstasy remix and signed vinyls and merch.

Hope this is true because she's not ready for album release. There's no real hype and this has been an abysmal roll out

Im just curious what would u like to see more of? The song is slowly picking up on radio. Remix is coming today. She's more than likely performing on the bet awards Monday. She's been on NUMEROUS Podcast talking about MUSIC not just her relationship & family like she usually does. She was in the uk and did like 10 interviews/podcast about her music. 
 

I think you mainly just want more performances when I honestly don't think it's time for that. She can push when it gets top 10 on urban radio.

Well as I previously asked, aside from performing, what do you think she should be doing? I would agree if this was like other eras where she dropped music and went on vacation but she's literally everywhere.
